Rush orders
A rush fee raises what you charge. It does not add printer hours. Check whether the deadline even fits, then price the inconvenience.
Rush Order & Rush Fee looks at pooled printer time — your printers’ hours added together, not a calendar of who runs which job. If that pool cannot finish in time, a bigger surcharge will not print faster. Change the due date, the quantity, or the hours you actually have.
If the rush does fit, the fee is there so you are not doing nights and weekend swaps for the same margin as a normal job.
Assigning a job to a named machine is Multiple Printer Manager. “Can I take this due date at all?” without a rush fee is Order Capacity & Deadline.
PrintProfit3D does not schedule the printers or text the customer.
