Units per plate and extra parts
Units per plate is how many sellable pieces fit on one build plate. Tools plan whole plates, so a 101-piece order can produce more than 101 prints.
Units per plate is how many sellable pieces fit on one build plate. PrintProfit3D plans in whole plates, not half plates.
If four charms fit on a plate, 100 charms is 25 plates. 101 charms still needs 26 plates in that plan, so the tool counts 104 prints. Those extras are extra plastic and time in the plan. They are not automatically extra sales.
That is how the calculator treats a full-plate run. Your slicer does not force you to print every object on the last plate — you can change the layout and slice again. If you do, enter the new units-per-plate and times.
Batch Order quotes the customer for the quantity ordered. Extra prints from rounding up are not sold or packaged in that quote. Bulk Order Planning is a manufacturing plan: it will show extras from full plates, and packaging follows units ordered — extras are not packed.
